The Takatof International Volunteering Programme is considered to be one of Takatof’s most important initiatives. "Makeover Stars" Project
Takatof’s project, "Makeover Stars" provides volunteers with the opportunity to exercise manual labor while helping to maintain and renovate the homes of disadvantaged families and to service buildings, such as schools, hospitals and special needs centres. Volunteers paint, clean, cultivate gardens, change furniture, and add aesthetic touches to beautify the properties.

Takatof Ramadan Project The Takatof Ramadan Project was first launched in the holy month of Ramadan 2007, to spread the idea of ​​social responsibility through volunteerism and to provide volunteers with opportunities to help low-income families in the UAE.

Takatof University Volunteering Clubs
Takatof University Volunteering Clubs promote social volunteerism, and develop student initiatives – while integrating university students in volunteering activities designed to serve the community. With Takatof’s support and guidance, Takatof Volunteering Clubs will manage, plan and implement social service opportunities within relevant university campuses and the surrounding environment.

Takatof at Public Events
Takatof volunteers support and help to organise many activities and public events held across the UAE. Regular participation in national, educational, sports and social events, conferences and environmental activities develops the volunteers’ leadership skills, and enhances self-awareness.

Al Khoi Project
The Al Khoi Project is a joint initiative between Takatof and Zayed House for Family Care (“Dar Zayed”), run by the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs. The project gives Takatof volunteers the opportunity to help integrate children from Zayed House for Family Care into cultural, social, recreational and sports activities, creating a suitably friendly environment for learning, exchanging experiences, and spending leisure time productively.

Takatof School Volunteering Grants
The Takatof School Volunteering Grants programme was launched in September 2008 in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. A total of 22 initial grants were awarded to support volunteer service projects in secondary schools in the 2008/2009 school year.
